Constituée de 13 épisodes, cette série nous narre les exploits de Oji Tanaka, un travailleur d'une trentaine d'années tout ce qu'il y a de plus classique. En effet, notre héros est marié, il a un fils et mène une vie paisible dans sa banlieue : bus, train, boulot et dodo. Pourtant sa vie n'a pas toujours était aussi terne, il a été Gabriel Tanaka, guitariste principal du légendaire groupe Black Heaven.
Sexe, drogue et rock n'roll, c'était la belle et éphémère vie d'Oji.
Mais tout ceci va changer drastiquement lorsqu'un matin Oji découvre qu'il est devenu celui qui sauvera l'espace.
